Christine Roy

Christine Roy

Christine Roy is a native of rural New England who grew up surrounded by history and haunted tales. If there was a spooky story, she wanted to hear it. If there were ruins tinged with tragedy and lore nearby, she wanted to explore them. While she graduated from the University of New Haven with a B.S. in communications and a focus on copywriting and advertising, this lifelong interest in the possibility of the unknown led her writing home, to a speculative path. Christine has found recognition for her short stories with awards from Writer's Digest, Bardsy, Writer's Playground, New Millennium Writings and Scribes Valley Publishing. She has completed three novels and continues to work on a variety of new projects, including a television sitcom. When not writing or listening to a variety of music from Miley Cyrus to My Chemical Romance, she is out in nature, hiking, naturalistic gardening, and daydreaming.
